Verpan

Verpan was founded with the intention of bringing the Danish design tradition to the very top. Unique schemes are designed in Verpan's laboratory to create functional, modern pieces that are useful and purposeful. The father of the company, Verner Panton, was a very colorfoul personality that used colours, shapes, and lights to bring any room to life. Unlike other design companies, Verpan does both lighting and furniture design, with a small section dedicated to rugs and throws.

Panton always thought that colour was more important than shape and that, by using the right mix of it, he could achieve imaginative pieces unlike any other. That is still true to this day. Panton's legacy has left more than just an inspiring story to cherish and share with others; it brought Verpan to worlwide success! Brands like Prada collaborate with Verpan to create unique pieces that are extremely imaginative. Lighting has always been Verpan's expertise but once they saw potential for the use of colour in other areas of furniture design, they immediately seized the opportunity, creating modern, clever furniture that looks just as good as it serves a purpose.

When it comes to modern and elegant lights, one name comes to mind Verpan. A significant number of their masterpieces bear the touch of the well-known architect and designer Verner Panton, after the company acquired the production and sales right of the late architect’s designs in collaboration of the Panton estate.

Verner Panton was credited for being the first one to introduce pop art into the world of furniture. This leaves little question as to how Verpan gained worldwide acclaim for products that boast of fluid lines and geometric forms.

The Danish lighting and furniture company established itself as a foremost manufacturer that seamlessly combines creativity, originality and quality in each of their products. In addition to classic chairs and furniture, Verpan produces table lamps, floor lamps and pendant lighting.
