The Kristalia History

Established in 1994, Kristalia is a furniture company established by young entrepreneurs from Friuli, with a passion for design and jazz, both of which are evident in all Kristalia products. The firm has set its eyes on innovative design projects, borrowing design ideas and materials from sports and fashion. The goal of innovation required experimentation and research for new technical solutions.

Kristalia presented its first catalogue in the autumn of 1995. This also marked the start of the company’s collaboration with Alberto Collovati. The catalogue had a very warm reception, primarily because it met the needs for contemporary furnishings without eliminating traditional styles.

Kristalia continues to collaborate with well-known designers for different collections – with IriamBettera for Taurus, with MoniaGraffeo for Chair, with Bartoli Design for Bird, and with Lucidepevere for Plana.

When a definitive company organisation was created by the end of the 1990s, Kristalia took a different path with the goal to attract consumers looking for furnishings with links to Italian innovation and international design.
