Domkapa was born in 2009 in Northern Portugal, home to many leading furniture and upholstery designers of the world. While the brand is relatively new, it has a strong history and foundation that has allowed it to make its mark in the International market. At Domkapa, there are four values that can simply not be compromised on: exceptional design solutions, supreme comfort, high-quality materials and hand sewing techniques. This level of commitment is not commonly seen in modern brands but for Domkapa, it is simply a testament to their desire for elevating everyday furniture.

Domkapa’s philosophy is highly focused on the importance of couture and the value of “made by hand” products. The products are divided into two main categories: the Capital collection which includes exclusive furniture featuring bold designs through which the Domkapa upholstery shines. The elemental collection on the other hand is a merger between simplicity and art as it focuses on the “less is more” concept.
