fci was established in 1985 and has gone from a 5000 sq ft showroom, to one of the largest designer furniture and lifestyle houses in the UK.

 

We are an independently owned family business with deep roots in furniture design, manufacture and interiors. We have one of the largest contemporary furniture showrooms in the UK, displaying the most exclusive quality pieces from the world's most exclusive, quality designers.

An honest and simple approach to pricing.

We have a simple and competitive pricing structure. Our clients need to save money and we need to make a certain amount of margin. With this in mind, we are always happy to sit down and discuss pricing over a cup of tea.

 

A customer service you can rely on

Our furniture is made in Europe and when you move large, bulky items across continents you can expect to have damages from time to time. We’ve been doing this for nearly 30 years and have intricate systems set up to deal with damages and customer service issues.

 

We also have excellent, personal relationships with all the brands we deal with so when problems arise we can put solutions into place very quickly.

 

Most importantly, we have a world class in-house installation & delivery team, ready to solve any unexpected problems that may occur on site. 99% of furniture retailers sub contract their deliveries and installation work out. We don’t.

 

Most of our team have worked at fci for over 10 years, and understand how to handle and install our quality furniture.

We are passionate about design

We’re constantly evolving and work with over 700 fantastic European furniture & interior brands. We’re always on the hunt for unique design and talented new designers and refresh our collections continually, ensuring that our clients have access to the best established brands and the most interesting new ones.

 

We are pioneers in using 3D technology for the purposes of interior design. We’ve been using powerful software solutions for more than 7 years to produce absolutely stunning interiors and have helped thousands of clients to completely transform their spaces. Of course we are in the business of selling furniture but unlike other retailers, we get there by taking the time to fully understand our clients’ needs. Once we understand what you need we only put forward solutions that perfectly fit your requirements rather than trying to just sell at you.

 

We place an enormous amount of value on our client relationships and so invest time in building these relationships; you are the key element to our growth and evolution. We are happy to work with residential and trade clients, no matter the size of the project.
